Which Rogers model, if any
Who Rogers is
Rogers Sporting Goods describes itself as a family-owned store selling waterfowl, hunting, shooting and outdoor gear, and says it was founded in 1980. That is what its own website says, and it is the only source I could open on the company. I could not find a maker page for the Rogers waders themselves, so I cannot tell you who manufactures them, where they are made or how long the line has existed. The brand is listed on Amazon under the name Rogers, and the models carry names like Toughman, Workin' Man, Little Hunter and NXT ZIP. A retail listing outside Amazon names Rogers Sporting Goods as the seller of the Workin' Man, which is how I connect the two names.
I would rather say that plainly than pad it. A few facts that would help you, such as a warranty term, a layer count or a membrane name, are simply not available to us. That is why most of the table is marked "listing", and why some cells are dashes.
What Rogers sells on Amazon US
At our last check (October 2026) we track eight Rogers waders. They fall into four groups.
Neoprene bootfoot pairs. The Men's 5 mm Neoprene Waders list 5 mm neoprene and 1,600 g boots. The Workin' Man comes in a women's version and a Youth version, both listed at 3.5 mm neoprene. Neoprene is foamed rubber, and its thickness is the first thing to look at: 3.5 mm is a common middle weight, and 5 mm is for cold water and standing still.
Insulated breathable bootfoot pairs. The Toughman 2-in-1 and the Little Hunter 2-in-1 both list insulated breathable construction with 1,600 g boots. The Men's NXT ZIP 2N1 lists insulated breathable construction with 1,000 g boots. "Breathable" here is the listing's word, and without a maker page we cannot say what membrane or how many layers it uses.
A stockingfoot pair. The listing called Fishing Waders is breathable and stockingfoot, labeled for general fishing. A stockingfoot wader has a neoprene bootie instead of a boot, and you wear a separate wading boot over it. That gives you more ankle support on a walk. Our stockingfoot waders page has more.
Wader pants. The Men's Toughman Tech Wader Pants are the one waist-high item. Wader pants cover your legs to the waist and stay out of the way when you sit or bend. They are lighter, but they do not protect if you wade deeper than your waist. See wading pants.
The Wet Sock Index, for the record, has a rating for "boot filled in the first ten minutes," and no Rogers listing, thankfully, mentions it.
How to read the Rogers table
Each value in the table carries a small mark. Maker would mean the manufacturer's own page states it, but for Rogers none of the values qualify, since we found no maker page. Claimed is a manufacturer's claim with no independent standard behind it. Listing, which is what you will see on almost every cell here, means the Amazon listing says so and nobody has confirmed it. A dash means we could not confirm it anywhere, and we do not guess. Under each model name, "More specs" shows the rest.
Because the values come from the listings, treat them as the seller's description. Material and insulation figures are usually accurate to what the seller wrote, but a listing can lump several sizes or colors together, so check the details on the page you buy from.
Choosing between the Rogers pairs
Start with how warm you need to be and how far you will walk.
Cold water, sitting still. The 5 mm neoprene pair is the warmest on paper. The listing gives 1,600 g boots as well. Neoprene keeps its warmth when wet and makes sense for a blind, a boat or a slow cold slough. The cost is heat on the move, and it is heavy to carry. The 3.5 mm Workin' Man pairs are a step lighter, with less insulation.
Cool days with walking. A breathable pair like the Toughman or Little Hunter, with 1,600 g boots in the listing, lets sweat vapor out while you move. You manage warmth with layers underneath, which is an advantage when the day warms. If you are not sure what the 2-in-1 name means, read the listing and the question and answer section before you buy.
Fishing rather than hunting. For a river walk, the stockingfoot pair plus a separate wading boot is the better setup, because a bootfoot wader gives little support on uneven rock. See bootfoot vs stockingfoot waders.
Kids. The Youth Workin' Man is listed as kids' waders. Children in waders need an adult within reach, a belt snug at the waist and a life jacket on anything deeper than they can stand in. Our kids waders page covers sizing and what to check. Do not buy a size up for the child to grow into, because loose waders trap water and make it harder to move.
Women's fit. The Workin' Man (Women's) is listed as a women's pair. Fit depends on your build, so measure rather than assume. Our women's waders page goes through what to measure.
What the insulation numbers can and cannot tell you
Four of the eight Rogers listings give a boot insulation figure: 1,600 g on the 5 mm neoprene, the Toughman and the Little Hunter, and 1,000 g on the NXT ZIP. Grams describe the weight of insulating fill in the boot, and there is no standard that turns grams into a temperature. A boot with 1,600 g is meant to be warmer than one with 1,000 g, but the same number from two makers can feel quite different, and a boot is only as warm as the socks and the water allow. The body of the wader matters too: in a breathable pair the legs are thin fabric, so most of your warmth comes from what you wear under it. In neoprene, the body itself is the insulation, and thickness in millimeters is the number to read.
Use the numbers to compare Rogers pairs against each other, and no further. If you cross-shop with Drake or Banded, look at the stated comfort ranges that some of their pages give, which are a more useful guide than grams.
Questions to ask about any pair with thin data
When the maker publishes little, the buyer has to ask the questions. Does the listing state the number of layers or the fabric? Does it list a warranty or at least a return window? Is the boot sized separately from the body? Does the size chart show chest, waist and inseam, or only a letter? Does the pair have reinforced knees, a front zip or gravel guards, and are those features shown in photos rather than only in text? If the answer to most of these is no, the pair may still be a sound choice for a few seasons of casual use, but you are buying on trust rather than on specs. That is a legitimate way to buy, as long as you know that is what you are doing.
One more point on reviews. I did not read buyer reviews for these listings, so I am not summarizing them here. If you shop these pairs, read the reviews for fit and for leaks in the first season, which are the two things worth knowing.
Warranty and what we could not confirm
We could not confirm a warranty for any of these pairs. The listings do not state one in our data, and the retailer's website points to a returns page rather than a warranty term. That matters, because the warranty is part of what you pay for. A neoprene wader that develops a leak at the seam in its first season is a different experience with a warranty than without one. Before you buy, check the seller's return policy on the listing and keep the receipt. Our wader repair guide explains patching for the day when it is not covered.
I'd add one rule of thumb: for a wader with little published information, give more weight to the return window and less to the feature list.
Fit and sizing
Rogers pairs do not have a size chart that we could confirm, so use the one on the listing. Measure your chest at its fullest part, your waist at the navel, and your inseam from the upper thigh to the floor. For a bootfoot pair, match the boot to your regular shoe size, and go up one if you are between sizes or plan to wear thick socks. Bootfoot waders have no separate boot choice, so the boot has to fit as is. Our wader size chart guide shows how to take these measurements.
Because we have no confirmed size range, there is no number I can give you for the largest or smallest size. Read the chart, and check whether the pair comes in short, tall or large fits if you are outside the average.
Care
Neoprene and breathable fabric need different treatment. Neoprene should be rinsed, turned inside out if the maker allows it, dried away from direct sun and stored without tight folds. Breathable waders should be washed according to the care label and dried fully. Our cleaning and storing guides cover both, and finding a leak explains what to do when one appears.
Where Rogers sits among other brands
Rogers is one of several brands selling wader pairs mainly for waterfowl hunting. For other brands in the same area, see Drake, Banded, frogg toggs and TIDEWE, and the full duck hunting waders page. For the type overview, read types of waders.

Questions about Rogers
Are Rogers waders good for duck hunting?
They are sold for it. The Toughman, Little Hunter and NXT ZIP are listed as insulated breathable bootfoot waders with 1,000 g to 1,600 g boots, and the Workin' Man and 5 mm pairs are neoprene, which is a common choice for sitting still in cold water. We cannot tell you how long they last, because we do not test and we have no maker data on durability. What we can say is that the specs in the listings fit the job.
What is the difference between Rogers neoprene and breathable waders?
Neoprene is a thick foamed rubber that insulates by itself and keeps you warm when you stand still. Breathable waders use a thin laminate that lets sweat vapor out, so they suit walking, and you add warmth with clothing. The Rogers 3.5 mm and 5 mm pairs are neoprene. The Toughman, Little Hunter, NXT ZIP and the Fishing Waders are listed as breathable.
Do Rogers waders have a warranty?
We could not confirm one. None of the eight listings states a warranty term, and we did not find a maker page for these pairs that does. Rogers Sporting Goods, the retailer behind the name, has a returns page, but its terms are separate from a product warranty. Check the listing and the seller's policy before you buy, and keep your receipt.
What does 2-in-1 mean on the Toughman and Little Hunter?
The listings call them 2-in-1 insulated breathable waders. We could not confirm what the 2-in-1 refers to, and the listing data does not say. Names like this sometimes point to a removable liner, but read the listing and the question and answer section for this pair before you assume.
Is there a Rogers 3-in-1 Toughman?
Not in our data. The Toughman we track is listed as a 2-in-1 insulated breathable pair. If you are searching for a 3-in-1 version, look for it by name on the listing, and compare it with the 2-in-1 before you pay for features you may not need.
Do Rogers make kids' waders?
The Youth Workin' Man 3.5 mm neoprene waders are listed as kids' waders. Children in waders need an adult nearby, a snug belt and a life jacket on any water that is deeper than they can stand in. Our kids waders page has the sizing and safety points to check.
How do I size Rogers waders?
The listings do not give a size range we can confirm, so use the size chart on the listing and measure your chest, waist and inseam first. Go up a size if you are between sizes or plan thick socks or insulation underneath.
