What the site does not do
You do not create an account or give your name or email address to read anything here. We do not run advertising networks. The site does not set analytics cookies, and we do not build a profile of you.
What stays in your browser
During a visit the site may keep a small referral tag in your browser's sessionStorage, which is a temporary store that is cleared when you close the tab or window. The tag records which tracking ID to attach to Amazon links during that visit. It is not an account and it goes away when the session ends.
Hosting and server logs
Like any website, the pages are delivered by a hosting provider, and a hosting provider normally processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to serve pages and keep them secure. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
Amazon and affiliate links
Links to Amazon are affiliate links, described on the disclosure page. When you click one, you leave this site and Amazon takes over. Amazon sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy notice, and we do not control or see what it collects. Product photos, where a page shows one, are loaded from Amazon's servers, so Amazon can receive a request from your browser for each picture.
Changes
If this policy changes, the update date at the top of the page changes with it. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
